Xero and Square now work better together. Find out how that might help your small business.
Cloud accounting company Xero has given its customers another reason to consider using the Square payments platform to accept payments from customers.
Xero users can now use the accounting platform to send email invoices with built-in Square payment functionality. The invoices allow customers to pay bills immediately, using a credit or debit card.
Any transactions made this way will be automatically recorded in Xero once the payment arrives in the business’s bank account.
The new integration also enables Xero users to create a daily sales summary invoice, which lists their previous day’s sales via Square. Xero will capture point-of-sale Square sales, including tips, surcharges and taxes.
This should make it easier to keep track of sales and simplify reconciliation.
Square also integrates with MYOB Essentials and AccountRight accounting software.
