There’s another option for those looking for an affordable business mobile plan that uses the Telstra network.

Communications provider MyNetFone has added 4G mobile services to its range of business products.

By using parts of Telstra's 4G and 3G mobile network, MyNetFone's 4G Business Mobile service offers a combined coverage 1.59 million square kilometres, or 98.8 percent of the Australian population.

The SIM-only plans start at $25 a month for 1GB of 4G data plus unlimited standard calls and SMS/MMS messages, all within Australia. At the other extreme, the $59 plan includes 15GB of data. All are available month-by-month, with no lock-in contracts.

While other mobile virtual network operators offer cheaper plans with unlimited calls and SMS, they generally disallow business use.

Options MyNetFone's 4G Business Mobile plans include pay-as-you-go pricing for international calls and SMS, starting at 26c per minute for calls to destinations such as China, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Singapore, UK and USA, and 54.45c per international SMS.

International roaming is available on request, with prices starting at $1.76 per minute. Travel packs (such as $24 for five days with 50 minutes, 50 SMS and 150MB of data) can relieve some of the pain. However, international roaming is available in less than 70 countries, and travel packs are usable in even fewer.

An app for Android and iOS shows how much data has been used in the current billing cycle, displays invoices, and allows account information to be updated.

“MyNetFone Business Mobile provides coverage using part of the Telstra 4G and 3G mobile network,” said Rene Sugo, CEO of MyNetFone’s parent company, MNF Group.

“Our competitive mobile plans pricing is enhanced by our Australian-based support. Our on-shore business support specialist team is available between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, providing swift and expert help to businesses.”
