The cloud accounting provider’s hub for accounting practices can now be extended with third-party apps.
Xero HQ was introduced last year to serve as a central hub for accounting practices and advisors. Now the company has announced the arrival of third-party apps to support accounting and bookkeeping practices.
Announced at the recent the company’s recent Xerocon Melbourne 2017 event, the initial nine apps include some familiar names:
- Boma – 'self-drive' marketing
- Fathom – forecasting
- Futrli – forecasting
- Hubdoc – document management
- NowInfinity – compliance
- Practice Ignition – client onboarding
- Receipt Bank – automated data entry
- SuiteFiles – file management
- Spotlight Reporting – reporting.
Xero has deliberately chosen to limit the number of apps, and is offering them in three bundles – Activate, Energise and Supercharge – to simplify the purchase decision.
“Feedback has told us that accounting and bookkeeping partners want to know which technology they should be working with to create their ultimate practice experience. That’s why we have curated a thoughtful group of third-party applications integrated into Xero HQ , which provide solutions to help our partners take advantage of technology to automate the mundane tasks, and focus on providing superior service to their clients,” said Xero chief partner officer Anna Curzon.
“Historically practice management solutions have been monolithic providing a defined suite of tools within one application. Xero HQ instead encourages accounting and bookkeeping practices to access a suite of tools to help them build a successful digital practice.”
