Xero says its business development training has boosted bookkeepers' turnover by 37 percent.

Cloud accounting software provider Xero has been running a series of 'grow your practice' webinars for its bookkeeper partners aimed at increasing their turnover.

It appears to have worked: participants report an average 37 percent increase in turnover, Xero CEO Rod Drury told the XeroCon conference in Melbourne yesterday.

But the company isn't satisfied with that: "We're going to keep going until we get to 100 percent," said Drury.

Xero is also extending the idea to its accountant partners, and will be running one-day Xero Accelerate workshops in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne during November, he added.
