If you lodge your business activity statements every quarter, keep in mind that the next BAS is due on Monday.

A short note today: the Business.gov.au site has issued a reminder that the next BAS is due on Monday October 28.

If you don't think you will make the due date, then it would be worth speaking with the ATO on 13 28 66 to see whether alternate arrangements can be made otherwise you may incur a penalty charge if you fail to lodge on time.

As the Business.gov.au site points out, you might qualify for an extra two weeks if you lodge online via the ATO Business Portal or with a registered tax agent or BAS agent.
