Harvey Norman is advertising "Mobile Madness" phone savings this weekend. We're always wary about savings promotions, but if you're careful you might be lucky enough to save some money on a phone you like.
Here are several handsets that stand out:
- Sony’s water proof and dust resistant Xperia Z Android smartphone is going for $566. The handset has a $749 RRP.
- Nokia’s high-end Windows 8 smartphone, the Lumia 920, is down to $398 and also comes with a number of different colours to pick from.
- For shoppers on a budget, there is the new Nokia Lumia 520 which is selling for $148 down from the $229 RRP. The feature list is reasonable for that price, including a dual core 1Ghz processor and 8GB internal storage with a MicroSD card slot for expandable storage.
- BlackBerry users might be interested to hear that the touchscreen Z10 has been discounted down to $538.
None of the phones listed in the sale are locked to any carriers and they come with the option of in store pickup or delivery.
