If you're looking for a new Mac, the MacBook, MacBook with Retina Display and MacBook Air have had prices cut by $105 across the range for today.
Apple is having a one-day shopping "event" in Australia today and if you are looking for a new Mac, iPod or iPad, then it's a chance to save a few dollars.
iPads down by $41-$65
iPads have been given a moderate price cut with reductions of between $41 and $65 depending on the model you choose.
Accessories have also been discounted with Smart Cases and Smart Covers reduced by between $11 and $21.
Apple's in-ear headphones and EarPods have also been discounted.
MacBook Pro and Air down by $105
If you're looking for a new Mac, the MacBook, MacBook with Retina Display and MacBook Air have had prices cut by $105 across the entire range. Unfortunately, the Mac mini hasn’t been discounted and the recently announced iMac is still absent from Apple's store with no sign of when it will actually be available.
As always, it is important to shop around. Many retailers offer discounts on Apple gear with cuts of up to 15% not uncommon. We've seen Myer, for example, discount Apple MacBooks by $100 in the last few months.
Also, if you're happy buying the previous generation or refurbished equipment Apple offer discounted stock online through the refurbished Mac store.
We've used this a few times in the past. Although the goods sometimes come in non-standard packaging, they include full 12 month warranties.
