Some important information if you're thinking of switching over to MYOB's new AccountRight Live accounting package.

Last week we posted this article explaining MYOB's new cloud accounting product, AccountRight Live, as well as why you might want to use it.

MYOB has been in touch to let us know that we made an error regarding the cost of the new service. We reported that users pay for a copy of AccountRight Live upfront (costing several hundred dollars), then pay a monthly fee to use the cloud feature. This is incorrect.

In fact, if you want to use MYOB AccountRight Live, once it's available to everyone on November 8, there is no need to purchase the standalone software first. Good news if the double payment had put you off.
