If you are shopping for an iPad, Big W is discounting the previous model (the 3rd generation iPad) by up to $90.
Hot on the heels of Apple’s announcement of a new iPad and iPad mini last week, the previous iPad (the third generation model) is already being discounted at Big W.
My local Big W at Westfield Doncaster was knocking off between $30 and $90 off the third generation iPad prices, depending on which model you prefer.

The savings are significant, with the 16GB WiFi and Cellular model offering the best discount.
The new iPad about to go on sale does offer three advantages over its predecessor, with a faster processor, the new Lightning connector and support for Australian 4G/LTE networks. However, if you don't hink you need 3G/4G and WiFi is enough for you, then the 32GB and 64GB models look like good value.
If those specials are gone by the time you get to your local Big W, Apple’s refurbished product store is also worth a look. They currently have a 16GB WiFi-only iPad 3 at just $419. Although the items are refurbished, they come with a 12-month warranty and free delivery.
