You can now pickup a Telstra pre-paid 4G phone for $149

This is the cheapest Telstra 4G phone you can buy and it has a Blue Tick rating. Find out where you can buy it from.

Late last year Telstra released their first 4G pre-paid smartphone, Telstra Frontier 4G, with a retail price of $299.
Today we noticed that Officeworks and Dick Smith selling the handset for $149, making it the cheapest Telstra 4G handset currently available.
While the phone has only a modest list of features (4GB of expandable storage, dual core 1.5Ghz processor, 5MP camera, Android 4.0 not 4.2), it is one of the few handsets on the market that sports an external antenna port for boosting the mobile phone signal.
The smartphone also comes with a Blue Tick rating from Telstra, which is good to know if you intend on using the handset out in rural and regional parts of the country.
