A new Android version of Xero Touch - the mobile companion app for the Xero cloud accounting system - features multiple user interface improvements, including the adoption of Google's Material design.
The latest version of Xero Touch for Android features greater consistency and new capabilities.
The app now includes mobile invoicing, bank reconciliation, and access to all records including customer and inventory data.
Expenses can be entered on the go, including receipt capture via the phone's camera.
Xero Touch features a dashboard that summarises bank account information, receivables and receipts. Other improvements include access to current customer information stored in Xero, and easy access to invoices, receipts, contacts, files and so on.
"A superior user experience is at the heart of everything we do at Xero," said Xero's chief marketing officer Andy Lark. "Merging input from our customers with beautiful, thoughtful design, drives both our product innovation and our passion for supporting small businesses and our accounting partners who can start their day using Xero mobile solutions."
