You can now tailor your business's Stories ads for Facebook, Instagram and Messenger.
If digital marketing and advertising is important to your business, then you may have come across Facebook Stories ads. They are more immersive full-screen, vertical-aspect image, video or carousel ads for Facebook, Instagram and Messenger.
It’s worth caring about Stories ads, because Facebook claims that more than half of the world’s Instagram users use the platform's stories function each day. And it claims that more than half the people it surveyed use the stories feature in multiple apps at least once each week.
Up till now, you had to use automatic default templates to create Stories ads. Now you can customise Stories ad templates, giving you more control over the ad.
You can add music using Facebook’s royalty free music clips, change a call-to-action effect colour, change the layout, background colours, cropping and text options.
One business that’s customised Stories ad templates, UK-based market research company Streetbees, claims in Facebook blog post that it saw a 40 percent increase in incremental app installs after switching from an automatic Stories ad template to a customised template.
