Vodafone has begun taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge smartphones that made their Australian debut yesterday.

Vodafone is offering the the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge in conjunction with its Red plans that include "infinite" standard national calls and national SMSes. They also include Vodafone's optional $5 per day international roaming (now in 47 countries), plus - except for the $60 plan - 300 international minutes per month, and a limited-time subscription to either the Spotify Premium music service or to the electronic edition of The Age or the Sydney Morning Herald.
Vodafone Red plans also give the option of aggregating and sharing inclusions across multiple devices.
Plan plus phone prices start at $76 per month ($60 plan, plus 24 handset payments of $16 for the 32GB Galaxy S6) and range up to $106 per month ($100 plan plus 24 $6 repayments for the 64GB Galaxy S6 edge).
There don't seem to be any special offers specifically linked to the Galaxy S6 launch, but until 5 May Vodafone is giving an extra 1GB of data on the $60 plan, 2GB on the $80 plan, and 4GB on the $100 plan for up to 24 months. That takes the totals to 3, 6 and 10GB per month.
