Vodafone joins Qantas Frequent Flyer

Qantas Frequent Flyer or Acquire points can now be earned by Vodafone customers.

A new relationship between Vodafone and Qantas means Vodafone customers can earn Qantas Frequent Flyer or Acquire points when they connect, renew or upgrade to selected mobile plans.

Vodafone's Qantas Red and Qantas Red Business plans appear to be the same as the regular Red and Red Business 24 month plans except that they attract Frequent Flyer or Acquire points respectively.

The standard points yield is 4,000 on the $80 plans, 5,000 on the $100 plans, and 7,500 on the $140 plans. Making the transaction online doubles the points awarded.

The Acquire joining fee is waived for those signing up for a Qantas Red Business plan.

Qantas points are also available on SIM Only plans: $45, 4,000 points; $60, 5,000 points; and $85, 7,500 points. Again, online transactions are rewarded with double points.

"Our new alliance with Qantas means that businesses can get even more out of their mobile phone plans," said Vodafone Executive General Manager of Business Stuart Kelly.

"Our business customers can easily earn Aquire Points which can be redeemed for valuable rewards including flight upgrades, hotel bookings, car hire and much more."
