A new app allows you to use your phone to order coffee at Qantas Clubs and Business Lounges.
Apps for ordering food and beverages before you arrive at a cafe are nothing new, but Skip has found a fresh angle: its app can now be used to order coffee at Qantas Clubs and Business Lounges at Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney domestic airports.
“We know our customers are very partial to a good coffee with half a million cups served in the Qantas Clubs and domestic Business Lounges every month, and this new service will provide another level of convenience for those on the go,” said Qantas head of customer product and service development Philip Capps.
In addition, touchscreens have been installed around the lounges so those who aren't Skip users can order before walking up to the bar.
“Whether you’re on your way to the airport and want to grab a coffee on the go before your flight, or you’d prefer to sit back, relax and enjoy all that the Qantas lounge has to offer, queueing up for your coffee will be a thing of the past with Skip,” said Skip general manager Bill Bizos.
Skip can also be used at more than 800 cafes and bars around Australia, with transactions charged to your credit card.
