It's not cheap, but if you are looking to upgrade your phone then the Samsung Galaxy S5 could be worth putting on your shortlist. Click for the details.
If you've been holding out for the Samsung Galaxy S5 , Samsung's latest hero phone goes on sale at Telstra - and, we suspect other carriers - on April 11. You can order a Galaxy S5 from Telstra here.
The outright price at Telstra will be $912.
Business customers can buy the S5 for $2 per month extra on the $80 Business Performance Plan, for example, and consumer options include $12 a month repayments with the $70 Mobile Accelerate plan.
Like the HTC One M8 , the Galaxy S5 will work on Telstra's 700MHz network that goes live early next year.
Interestingly, Telstra will also be selling Samsung's new wearables.
The Gear Fit will be available at "select Telstra stores" from 11 April for $249 outright or $10 per month (total cost $240) in conjunction with "an eligible mobile plan".
The Galaxy Gear 2 and Galaxy Gear 2 Neo will go on sale at an unspecified date but presumably from the same stores, priced at $369 and $249.
The various Gear devices are compatible with the Galaxy S5, S4 and S3 smartphones, as well as certain other Samsung models including the Note 3 and the 2014 Note 10.1.
