The QuickBooks brand is "here to stay in Australia", says a statement from the company behind QuickBooks Online.
Here's something we've already explained to QuickBooks users, but in case you missed it, it can't hurt to hear it again.
The owner of the QuickBooks brand contacted us last week with a reminder for our readers that "the QuickBooks brand is here to stay in Australia."
As you might know, the product Australians used to know as QuickBooks recently got a name change - it is now called Reckon Accounts.
But the QuickBooks brand will still exist in Australia as QuickBooks Online - a separate product that's been available here since last year
from the company Intuit.
"We know how many Australian small business owners, accounting and bookkeeping professionals have relied upon the QuickBooks brand for many years and we know that the QuickBooks Online cloud-based solution that is now available will continue to be an asset in managing your finances," said Nora Tucker, product manager for QuickBooks Online Australia.
So QuickBooks users have the choice of staying with the desktop software they know, even if the name has changed, or switching to the online service with the familiar name.
