Optus today announced that it is taking pre-orders for the BlackBerry Z10, with delivery beginning on 25 March if you order by 20 March.
Those pre-orders with Optus for the BlackBerry Z10 are dependant on stock levels.
Here are the links to the Optus plans:
The plans start at $30 per month plus $18 handset repayments and range up to $130 per month with no additional handset repayment.
The BlackBerry Z10 was announced earlier this year, along with another new BlackBerry phone with a physical QWERTY keyboard, the BlackBerry Q10 (which also has a touchscreen).
At the time, we reported that the touchscreen BlackBerry Z10 would be available here from Optus and Telstra no earlier than March.
As we previously reported, the Z10 has a 1.5GHz dual core processors, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a memory card slot, NFC (for wireless "tap and go" payments) and a micro HDMI out port for connecting to a big screen (handy for showing presentations).
The Z10 (and BlackBerry's new Q10) lets users swipe between apps instead of opening and closing them.
Optus has confirmed that the Z10 will run on its 4G network.
