The telco is offering discounts to small and medium businesses that sign up for at least two new mobile plans.
The Optus SMB Multi-Service discount applies when business customers take on two or more new "eligible" plans.
The discount is five percent for two new services, 10 percent for three, 15 percent for four to nine, and 20 percent for 10 or more.
My Plan Business (excluding Tech Fund), My Plan Business SIM and Mobile Broadband Business plans are eligible for the discount, which only applies to the plan fees.
Optus also announced that "selected" plans now include unlimited standard international calls to 10 "selected" countries from Australia and unlimited international calls and SMS when roaming in "selected" countries.
"Because Optus SMB is all about making it easy for small business to do business in the one place, we can also consolidate all mobile and mobile broadband services into one monthly bill and provide businesses with access to a shared pool of data for their eligible services," said Optus's head of SMB Matthew Ball.
That's all very well but the new plans appear to favour new customers over existing Optus customers. For example, a business that currently has one plan would have to take on two new services to qualify (that is, a total of three or more services unless they recontract the existing service), whereas someone switching to Optus only needs two services.
