If you regularly take advantage of trams, trains and buses to get to your destination, then Navigon's latest GPS app for the iPhone might come in handy.
If you're a small business owner who regularly travels into a nearby city for meetings, you might find it's less hassle and cheaper to take a train instead of driving.
With this in mind we note that the latest version of Navigon's GPS app for the iPhone takes into account various public transport modes - in most mainland capitals, at least - into account when planning pedestrian routes. This includes trains, buses, trams and even water taxis. You can find where to get on, and lookup route information and it will also tell you where to get off.
As with earlier products from Navigon, the app includes a 'last mile' feature to navigate you between a parking spot and your actual destination.
Other features of Navigon for iPhone 2.2 include support for the iPhone 5's larger screen, and integration with the much-criticised Apple Maps feature of iOS 6.
Navigon for iPhone is $59.99 ($15 off) until October 14, and the Urban Guidance in-app purchase is reduced to $2.99 (usually $7.49) for the same period.
