Another company is talking up the benefits of small businesses using a data centre to store their files, as protection against events like the Queensland floods.
It was only recently we looked at how to backup a LOT of data online, so it's with interest we see another company offering disaster recovery for small businesses.
This one is offered by a company called CN Group, which is talking up the benefit of having a disaster recovery method in place as protection against events like the Queensland floods.
"The spate of natural disasters over the last couple of years has been an eye opener for SMBs all over Australia," said Brian Pereira, CEO of the CN Group.
"We had customers in Queensland with leaky roofs who lost everything overnight due to heavy rains. Worse, what they thought they had in terms of back-ups was also unusable or untested, putting their whole business at risk."
CN Group today announced it is using the data disaster recovery services of iseek Communications, which has data centres in Sydney and Brisbane as backup destinations.
We note CN Group offers a free evaluation of a business's IT systems in terms of their ability to recover from a disaster.
