MYOB claims changes to its MYOB Practice product will halve the time accountants spend on compliance processes.
The company has revised the software’s compliance workflow to make it easier to integrate invoices, workpapers and other data.
Instead of accountants manually collecting this material to lodge a tax return, the new workflow interfaces with other MYOB products to capture data automatically and match it to bank feeds.
MYOB estimates that accountant will be able to attach a report to an account in four clicks – a process that can take as many as 24 clicks.
Collaboration functions built into the workflow also allow accountants and clients to communicate.
The compliance workflow is in beta and scheduled to become available in mid-2019. MYOB is inviting accountants to register their interest in taking part in the beta program.
MYOB will reveal this feature and others at its Incite 2019 roadshow this month.
