Wish there was a better way to present mind-numbing Excel spreadsheets to your colleagues? There is.
Most of us use Excel to plug figures into a simple table format, which is fine for recording purposes but is far from ideal if you need to present that data to your colleagues as a part of a presentation.
For this reason, Microsoft has made available a 15-minute Webinar video (embedded below) that walks you through some basic steps in how you can quickly jazz up your figures for presentation purposes.
Most of the video looks at how you can quickly generate charts and graphs from the tables of data that you already have using functionality such as conditional formatting, Sparklines and the Quick Analysis tools built into Excel.
The video also looks at how you can take advantage of the different “themes” available within Excel to help those graphs and charts stand out even further.
