BIT recently reported the tie-up between ShipIT and InXpress , and now shipping and fulfilment provider Temando has become a Magento Gold Technology Partner after five years as a silver partner.
Temando said this change of status "means Australian retailers will benefit from the global experience Temando brings to a historically complex and ever-changing industry."
Temando provides any Magento store with a way to offer delivery rates and services from multiple courier services, including Fastway, TNT, Couriers Please, StarTrack and Hunter Express.
The company serves large and small businesses by helping increase conversions and lower costs. The client list includes familiar names such as ASOS, Krispy Kreme, Baby Bunting and Harvey Norman, as well as smaller players such as self-described "old school" fashion retailer Bronze Snake and online fashion boutique LouenHide.
"We were able to manage the sale smoothly because we had Temando. It would have taken us three times as long without Temando to get the orders out the door," said marketing manager Holly Tattersall.
