Here is a link to the LastPass site which allows you to check whether your Adobe account was one of the accounts that was hacked.
Adobe's Creative Cloud service is a major platform for the likes of photographers, video editors and designers, so the recent news of passwords being compromised is not particularly comforting.
Adobe’s servers were hacked last month, with reports that more than 150 million Adobe customer usernames and passwords were stolen in addition to encrypted credit card information.
As a result, Adobe reset the passwords on all accounts to prevent any further unauthorised access.
We've published various articles covering the Adobe Creative Cloud, and it's benefits for users. So we've decided to share the link here to the online tool available from LastPass
, which allows you to check whether your Adobe account was one of the accounts that were hacked. LastPass says it does not keep any information on those who use the tool.
Enter your email address in the secure form and it will cross check against the compromised Adobe accounts.
If you were queasy about trusting your work practises to the cloud, no doubt this incident won't help.
