Telstra customers can now avoid being slapped with a 1% payment fee every time they pay their landline, mobile or Internet bill online
Telstra customers will be glad to hear that they can now avoid a 1% payment fee every time they pay their landline, mobile or Internet bill online - so long as they opt for PayPal as their payment method of choice.
PayPal is currently only available via Telstra.com/paymybill however Telstra is working on including PayPal within their Telstra 24x7 apps for smartphones and tablets in the next few months.
As with other websites that use PayPal, you don’t need a PayPal account to use the service so long as you enter your credit card details after you select PayPal as the payment method.
For those who haven’t used PayPal before, it’s a quick and easy way of making payments online. It allows you to link your credit cards and direct debit accounts to PayPal and saves you from having to give up your account details to every web site that you purchase goods from.
