Friday File Fling

Friday File Fling

Regain some precious storage space and help save the planet.

As part of National Recycling Week, Planet Ark is calling on organisations to hold a Friday File Fling this Friday (13 November). So we thought you'd like a few days notice.

In most offices, there are a lot of paper documents stacked in storage that will never be read again. The idea of Friday File Fling is to clear out those unwanted documents - especially those that were printed on good-quality paper - from filing cabinets, drawers, binders and storage boxes, and then either reuse (eg, for draft printing or notepads) the paper if it was printed single-sided, or recycle it.

Planet Ark suggests combining a Fling with a social event such as an afternoon tea to encourage participation.

If you are one of the first 500 organisations to register a fling, you'll receive a free carton of Reflex White 100% Recycled paper. Which might be ironic, depending on how you look at it.
