Brisbane City Council has joined the municipal Wi-Fi movement by providing free access in a number of parks and public areas around the city.
If you need an online fix during a lunch break, smoko or between appointments, there are now some more places to do it in the Brisbane city without busting your monthly mobile quota.
Central locations include King George Square, King Edward Park, and Post Office Square.
You can find a complete list of parks in Brisbane with free Wi-Fi (with map) here.
The service commenced in late 2012.
