For $34.50 this could be your cheap backup phone

You can pickup a cheap LG Optimus L3 phone for $34.50 at Woolworths stores, though keep in mind it is locked to the Telstra network.

The $34.50 LG phone is being advertised on page 18 of the current weekly Woolworths catalogue which you can see here (you'll need to scroll to page 18).

The phone is the LG Optimus L3 - it may struggle to run some of the more demanding apps, with a low powered 800Mhz processor, but it does come have a rather large 1500mah battery, which means at least a full day worth of talk time before needing to reach for the charger.

The phone even comes with some pre-paid credit and Woolwoths is advertising half price Telstra pre-paid starter kits for $15.

The catch is the handset is locked to Telstra.

If you’re someone who needs to make a lot of business calls then this could be a handy second phone to have on hand as a backup.
