Qantas passengers can now check their iPhone to see if boarding gate times or gate numbers have changed after checking in.
Last November, Qantas started giving iPhone users the ability to store boarding passes in their iPhones Passbook app.
Qantas has now added a live updates function, so you can check your Passbook boarding pass for any changes such as boarding time or gate number that occur after checking in.
Live updates are available from two hours before departure at major Australian airports (90 minutes at Sydney T3).
There's no further word about support for Passbook's location-awareness feature that automatically displays a boarding pass or other document according to the location of the iPhone and the date and time.
Qantas boarding passes on Passbook are only available to passengers that are eligible for mobile check-in, and Passbook itself requires iOS 6.0 or later.
