Here's another way you can get more bang for your buck when paying to advertise your business on Facebook.
If you use Facebook to advertise your business, you’ll want to target the most relevant users. That includes showing your ads to people searching for things relevant to your business.
While ad-targeting based on search terms is the basis of Google’s model, Facebook has previously limited advertisers’ access to Facebook search results.
That changed late last year, when Facebook opened up access to search-result targeting to more Facebook advertisers.
That means you can now have your ads appear when user search for certain keywords on Facebook – in general search results and on the Facebook Marketplace. Facebook says the ads will be “contextually relevant to a limited set of English and Spanish search terms”. Though, it also notes that you’ll only get this option if your ad is “eligible”.
You can see what this looks like in a short video here.
