Ecommerce conference hits Melbourne in March

This event will be Victoria’s largest gathering of ecommerce suppliers and international keynote speakers, claim the organisers.

Organisers of the Ecommerce Conference and Expo will be held in Melbourne on 25-27 March claim the event will be Victoria’s largest gathering of ecommerce suppliers and international keynote speakers.
Headline speakers at the conference include Alessio Rossi (vice president, interactive and e-business marketing at Lancome - L'Oreal), Stephen Scheeler (head of ecommerce, retail, automotive and QSR at Facebook), Sean Smith (head of Woolworths subsidiary WineMarket), and Adam Ostrow (chief strategy officer, Mashable).
Other well-known organisations on the speaking roster include ABC, Kellogg's, Pacific Brands, Qantas, Target, Threadless, Virgin Mobile.
Particular attention will be given to the travel, retail, publishing & media and digital sectors.
A set of workshops will run on Tuesday March 25 if you are looking for more in-depth knowledge. The subjects to be covered are a practical introduction to ecommerce, data-driven marketing, and creating compelling content.
A full three-day pass (expo, conference and workshop) costs $1727, conference tickets are $1314.50, and a workshop-only ticket costs $654.50. These are early-bird rates that were supposed to end on 31 January, but were still being offered when we checked on 5 February. Discounts apply to purchases of four or more tickets.
If that's beyond your budget, admission to the expo is free and includes entry to the conference keynote presentations. Exhibitors represent various niches within the industry: ecommerce platforms, logistics and fulfilment services, web design and analytics, payment processing, marketing services, and more.
