Deloitte Private Connect taps into Receipt Bank

Family business accounting specialist Deloitte Private Connect adds Receipt Bank to its arsenal.

Deloitte Private Connect provides individuals and family businesses with bookkeeping, accounting and lodgement services for a flat monthly fee starting from $599.

This service has now been streamlined with the incorporation of Receipt Bank , which extracts data from invoices and receipts that have been submitted by email, mobile app (iOS and Android phones and tablets), Dropbox, upload from a computer, or post.

An important part of Receipt Bank's proposition is that the data is checked by humans.

The data can be fed directly into Xero, QuickBooks and various other programs, or downloaded as an Excel spreadsheet or a PDF file. The document images are stored by Receipt Book to meet retention requirements.

Receipt Bank pricing starts at $21.95 a month, but the company makes special arrangements with accounting firms - which brings us back to Deloitte Private Connect.

Ben Shields, Managing Partner of Deloitte Private Connect said it is all about delivering a great client experience and actionable insights based on timely information.
“Receipt Bank is a great addition to the Deloitte Private Connect platform," said managing partner Ben Shields.

"Our arrangement with Receipt Bank is aligned with one of the core strategies of Deloitte Private Connect - each component is 'plug and play' allowing Deloitte to be agile with its choice of cloud software provider so that our clients are offered the leading technologies at all times."

Sophie Hossack, Australia country manager for Receipt Bank, added "Through automation, cloud technology provides a number of fundamental efficiency benefits. But it goes further than that, software is shaping and transforming the client experience and we're excited to be collaborating with Deloitte on delivering this experience to their clients."
