The Surface RT 32GB model, now superseded by the Surface 2, is now $160 cheaper.
If you’re in the market for a Microsoft Surface then you will be interested to hear that Microsoft has reduced the price of the original Surface RT 32GB model by $160 and is now listed for $229 from the Microsoft online store.
According to the Microsoft store website, the promotional price is running for “three days only”.
Note that JB Hi-Fi is listing the Surface RT for $223 so that would be your best bet if you prefer to buy it from a retail store. Harvey Norman are also advertising the Surface for $229.
The original Surface RT comes with a touch optimised version of Office 2013 but can only run apps downloaded from the Windows store and cannot run desktop programs.
This tablet has since been superseded by the Surface 2, which went on sale in October.
