Bigcommerce users report big gains from eBay integration

A new integration between Bigcommerce and eBay has resulted in sales increases of up to 50 percent for beta users.

A new link between Bigcommerce and eBay - understandably dubbed eBay Link - makes it easy for Bigcommerce store operators to list their products on eBay.

eBayLink provides customisable templates and a degree of automation that allows the creation of hundreds of listings in a matter of minutes.

Inventory is automatically synchronised between the two ecommerce platforms, and customers can be automatically alerted as their order status changes.

Provision is made for custom pricing and discounts on eBay listings, as well as offers such as free delivery.

"Through the eBay integration, we've been able to open up an entirely new sales channel that has dramatically increased our online revenue," said Kerrie Harrison of NSW-based baby products retailer Baby Barn. "We've found the integration easy to use and update, and are constantly updating our stock as it sells out."

While Baby Barn did not reveal exactly how big that dramatic increase was, eBay officials said beta users of the link "reported up to a 50 percent increase in store sales following eBay and Bigcommerce integration."

eBay Link is a free add-on for Bigcommerce that can be used with new or existing eBay stores.
