Here’s a list of highlights on the agenda for the big retail event in Sydney this month.
Australia Post and Afterpay will be among the many companies converging on the ICC Sydney complex this month for the Online Retailer Conference & Expo.
The two day event, which takes place on July 24 and 25, promises “two days jam-packed with cutting-edge ecommerce insights, the latest trends, tech innovation and retail solutions”.
Organisers of the event claim there will be more than 100 speakers and 140 solution providers. They say the event attracted 2,500 visitors last year.
The agenda is packed. Australia Post will kick off the event by chairing a session titled “2019 and beyond – What will change the game for ecommerce?”.
Other highlights include:
- Australia Post will also join Afterpay and others to discuss digital touch points in the customer journey.
- Adore Beauty will explain “headless commerce” and how they reduced their site speed to 2.4 seconds.
- A Magento representative will talk about how to create a compelling customer journey.
- There will also be a session about fast fashion and waste in retail. Attendees will learn how to adopt “tried & tested best practice sustainable sourcing and packaging”.
