The OptiPlex 7070 Ultra is a new take on stylish all-in-one computers, which have aesthetic appeal and don’t take up much space, but aren’t as upgradeable as bulky tower PCs.
The new OptiPlex 7070 Ultra is impressively small. What you see in the photo is the entire computer – there’s no separate power bank. It’s powered by a USB-C cable connection to a display.
You can hide the OptiPlex 7070 Ultra in a special Dell monitor stand, so it looks like an all-in-one, but the hardware is separate to the display. That means you can upgrade the computer or your display separately.
The OptiPlex 7070 Ultra is also more powerful than typical small form factor and Intel NUC mini PCs. It supports up to an Intel 8th vPro generation Core i7 CPU, 64GB RAM and 3TB storage (1TB SSD and 2TB HDD).
Dell hasn’t announced the OptiPlex 7070 Ultra Australian price yet but the on-sale date is September 24.
