The following images of documents with sensitive information on them were found outside several Sydney businesses, according to a press release sent to the media.
While we haven't seen the actual documents in person and only have these photos to rely on - exactly how much sensitive information was visible on these documents we don't know - it's another reminder that some businesses can't be too careful when it comes to shredding their waste paper.
80 businesses were surveyed. Doctors' offices, lawyers and bank branches were the main types of businesses found with confidential information in their bins, during this particular survey.
There are plenty of Sydney businesses putting themselves at risk like this - that's according to a trade body that represents the companies who specialise in "information destruction" (called NAID-ANZ).
