Employment Hero offers a range of HR capabilities, including scheduling, payroll, performance management, employee benefits, and financial services.
The basic service is free for all, and includes employee files, paperless onboarding, employment contracts, HR documents and more.
Starting “soon”, ANZ Bank business customers will be granted free access to Employment Hero’s premium tier that usually costs $8 per employee per month. It provides a much broader range of features including employee certifications, induction content, policies, leave requests, timesheets, safety and incident reporting, performance reviews and goal setting, medical disclosure statements, and award interpretation.
“By simplifying administrative processes we can help businesses be significantly more productive,” said Employment Hero founder and CEO Ben Thompson.
“It takes 100 pages of paperwork to on-board an employee, this is often then sent by mail and stored in manila folders – a huge waste of resources and time. We remove all this paperwork, sending the right information to the right parties in a secure real-time environment.”
Employment Hero integrates with KeyPay, MYOB or Xero, or its own payroll module can be used for an extra $4 per employee per month. If the latter option is taken, rostering, time and attendance, and modern award interpretation can be added for another $2 per employee per month.

“Without effective HR management, businesses are exposed to losing valued employees or breaching compliance requirements. Staying on top of the administration can not only cost them money and time, but can also take business owners away from growing their business.”
