Product brief: Belkin N600DB Wireless N+ router review
A solid, if uninspiring, router available at a decent price.

The Belkin N600 DB Wireless N+ Router is part of Belkin’s new look design and packaging – a response from the company after the disastrous reception of its previous iteration of new look design and packaging. Inside is the same solid functionality and networking technology that made us appreciate the PlayMax range and its ilk.

The N600DB is dual-band, has four LAN ports and a USB port for networking a printer (or storage for people not in a hurry). We had no drop out issues during the test time and found the range to be more than adequate and a step above some of the models we’ve seen over the past 12 months.

The lack of Gigabit Ethernet is a minor disappointment, although that’s available in the N750DB version. While the RRP puts it a little pricier than we might have liked, it can be found cheaper online.
