Bluetooth headsets have had a tough ride in Australia, despite their obvious practical benefits.
Despite being quiet for the past few years, Danish company Jabra has recently freshened its lineup of the hands-free devices, including the Stone2 earpiece. The original Stone had a fairly low battery life, but we found the Stone2 far more impressive on this front, thanks to a full 8 hours’ charge being stored in the base/charging dock when on the go.
Sound quality was crisp both for sending and receiving, although we did find the sliding controls occasionally a little awkward when the piece was in-ear. We also had some trouble choosing between the array of removable ear-pieces to find the one that stayed most comfortable for the longest time, but we did get there.
At $149 it’s a pricy device, but the will definitely appeal to the style conscious.
