$150,000 up for grabs by NBN users

Is the NBN helping your small business grow? If so, you may be in line for a cash grant.

The Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), in partnership with NBN Co, is offering a total of $150,000 in grants to organisations that are growing due to the NBN.

The scheme is open to small businesses (with fewer than 50 employees), incorporated community organisations, and organisations using the NBN for education or training purposes.

In each category there will be one grant of $25,000, with $10,000 going to each of the two runners-up. A further $15,000 will be awarded to what is judged by NBN Co employees to be the best of the six runners-up.

Applicants must have a 25Mbps or faster NBN service in the name of the organisation applying, except for community organisations which can have the service in the name of a connected individual.

Applications are open now and should be made in the form of short video and written responses.

Entries close on 17 February 2017, so get cracking!
