Saasu: What is it good for?

One of the well-known names in cloud accounting, Saasu claims more than 10,000 business users worldwide. So what does it let you do?

If you read our recent intro to cloud accounting software, and our observations about MYOB LiveAccounts, you might also be wondering about Saasu.

Saasu puts your most important business information front and centre. When you log-in you get an immediate view of what money is owed to you, what bills you have to pay and who your largest debtors and creditors are.

Entering transactions is easy and can import bank transactions directly from your bank so that you don't have to manually enter everything.

If your business sells products, you can create products and manage inventory using Saasu.

Saasu's payroll function is very easy to use although there was no way to set up a pay-run that processes a group of employees simultaneously.

Completing your BAS every month or quarter is easy as Saasu has a built-in report that provides all the information you need. Assuming you correctly categorise your transactions, completing a BAS takes just a few minutes.

Saasu works on PCs, Macs and tablets. there's an iPhone app so you can enter invoices, payments and expenses.

Saasu offers a free 30 day trial. If you like it, there are options starting at $9 per month with a 50 transaction per month limit and support for one automated bank account feed. The dearest option is $60 per month and includes multi-currency support, 10 bank feeds and payroll for more than 25 staff.
