Video: How the cloud can get you out of the office

Video: How the cloud can get you out of the office

It's one of the hottest issues in computing right now. In this video we show you how a small business can use cloud products like Office 365.

In this last video in our four part series brought to you in association with Microsoft, we're going to attempt to give you a basic overview of how cloud computing can make your business truly mobile.

As well as potentially saving you money, moving your server to the cloud allows you to give staff access wherever they are. And it's not just email and calendars. Cloud applications like Office 365 let you have online meetings, even run Word and edit spreadsheets from a Web browser or a phone.

The other upshot is that by having everything stored centrally, and using an application like Sharepoint Online, you can avoid the headache of different staff using different versions of files.

If you're still getting your head around the whole concept, and don't want to be put off by technical jargon and white papers, this is where you should start.

And don't forget our first video, a quick no-nonsense introduction to the cloud, as well as our second video, how the cloud might make you money and third video showing how the cloud can protect your data.
