Nexus 7 with 3G on sale at JB HiFi, Office Works

First it was the Wi-Fi model, now the 3G version of the highly regarded Nexus 7 tablet will be available in stores in Australia this month.

If you're looking for a compact, full-function Android tablet, there's now another reason why the Nexus 7 deserves consideration - the 3G model is now on sale.

The Nexus 7 32GB with 3G has a recommended price of $369, compared with $319 for the 32GB model without 3G.

Outlets include Harvey Norman, JB HiFi, Dick Smith Electronics, The Good Guys, Bing Lee, Radio Rentals, Office Works, EB Games, BSR, authorised ASUS channel resellers and the Google Play store.

We're written extensively about the Nexus 7, including a review of the Nexus 7, a road test, and a look at real-life battery consumption.

The advantage of 3G connectivity is that you can get online practically anywhere that your carrier provides mobile phone coverage.

The Nexus 7 isn't locked, so you can switch carriers or use a local SIM when travelling overseas.
