Putting on a special display in a shop window used to be something reserved for the Christmas season. A few reindeer, a sprinkling of fairy dust and you might have shoppers crowding your doorstep.
Not anymore. As you'll see in part one of our photo gallery, it's a jungle out there in the world of retail - and if it catches the eye, shocks, scares, titillates, amuses or fascinates, then you might find it in a shop window.
